Wintercount (near Florence AZ)

There are many changes at WC this year. First, there is a NEW LOCATION. It will be held about 30 minutes drive East of the town of Florence, Arizona. It is a beautiful site that has all the Sonora Desert has to offer. There will be a fee to be on site. There are no fees to participate in the Atlatl and Archery activities. The fees allow access to the facility.

Members of WAA and some from SALT that come and camp and participate in the competitions but DO NOT TAKE CLASSES will have a discounted registration fee.

This will allow them to camp providing their own food. We will provide a safe camp, water and port-a-potties. You will be allowed to participate in the competitions , slide shows and evening activities.

Fee Schedule: Adults (17 yrs and up) $50 per person for the week.

                        Youth (16 yrs and younger) $25 per person for the week.

If you come in for the day just to compete, the price will be $15 per person. No youth discount. You can use water and sanitary facilities. If you want to take classes the price will be discounted from $95 (usual day price) to $75. This will also include two meals.

It is important to emphasize that if you are coming to participate in classes, you need to register at full price and do it soon before registration is closed.

You will need to be preregistered prior to arriving at the facility. So please RSVP me if you are planning on coming.

There may not be a distance throw, depending on finding a safe location nearby.
